Adult ADHD Assessment

You're not lazy.

You're not broken.

But something isn't adding up.

You hit your deadlines. You show up. But it takes everything you've got - and no one sees how hard you're working just to keep up.

15 minutes. No pressure. Just a conversation.

Does this sound familiar?

Exhausted by 2pm

You're running on caffeine and willpower, feeling depleted by tasks that seem effortless for everyone else.

Systems that don't stick

You've tried every planner, app, and productivity hack. They work for two weeks, then collect dust.

Racing mind at night

You lie awake at 11pm mentally rehearsing tomorrow's to-do list, unable to switch off.

Forgetting what matters

Kids' events. Friends' birthdays. Important deadlines. The guilt is constant.

Always late

You leave 'plenty of time' but somehow still arrive flustered and apologising.

Performing 'fine'

Everyone thinks you've got it together. No one sees the effort behind the mask.

"Every single day feels like I'm running at 110% just to keep up with what everyone else seems to do on autopilot."

What clarity looks like

Self-blame

stops

You stop beating yourself up for things that were never about effort. The years of 'why can't I just...' finally have context.

Patterns make sense

The random struggles weren't random. You get a framework for understanding why certain things have always been harder.

Decisions become clearer

You can have informed conversations about support, work, relationships - based on understanding, not guessing.

Questions you might have

What if it's not ADHD?

An assessment gives you clarity either way. If it's not ADHD, you rule it out and can explore other explanations. If it is, you finally have context for everything you've been experiencing. Both outcomes move you forward.

What happens on the intro call?

It's a 15-minute conversation to understand what you're experiencing and whether an assessment makes sense for you. No pressure, no commitment. Just a starting point.

Will knowing actually change anything?

Yes. For most people, it's a turning point. You stop blaming yourself for things that were never about effort. Patterns that felt random start making sense. And you can finally make decisions about work, life, and support based on how your brain actually works—not how you wished it worked.

I wasn't hyperactive as a kid. Can I still have ADHD?

Absolutely. Most adults we assess weren't the 'bouncing off walls' stereotype. Inattentive ADHD—the kind that shows up as mental fatigue, disorganisation, and constant compensation - often goes unnoticed until adulthood.

How long does it take?

The assessment itself is typically 3-4 hours, sometimes split across two sessions. We work around your schedule.

Can I get a Medicare rebate?

You may be eligible for a partial rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. We can discuss this on the intro call and explain how it works.

I've already been diagnosed with anxiety/depression. Could it still be ADHD?

Yes, it could be. ADHD is often misdiagnosed as anxiety or depression - especially in women. The symptoms can overlap, and many people have both. A proper assessment will look at the full picture.

I'm high-functioning. Is it worth getting assessed?

High-functioning doesn't mean it's not hard. It often means you've been compensating your whole life - and that takes a toll. Many of our clients are successful professionals who are exhausted from the effort it takes to keep up.

Do you assess for autism as well?

Yes. ADHD and autism often co-occur, and we can assess for both if that's relevant for you. We'll discuss this on the intro call.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Availability varies, but we'll give you a clear timeline on the intro call. No long waitlists.

Ready to find out?

If you've been wondering whether it's worth exploring, the intro call is the place to start.
